Junior Christ Child

The Junior Christ Child Society (JCCS) is a group of teenagers who volunteer their time and efforts to support the boys who live in the Christ Child House in Detroit. JCCS is open to all high school students in the greater Detroit area.

The boys in the house love spending time with the young men and women of JCCS. Throughout the year, JCCS typically plans a variety of activities to both interact with the boys in the House and help raise funds. Some of the activities we participate in include a School’s Out Backyard BBQ, secret Santa gift wrapping, playground games and ice-cream day, DJ dance party, Firecracker Virtual 5k, Trunk or Treat and many more.

Volunteering with JCCS allows teens to earn service hours while also benefiting from interacting with and helping the boys living in the Christ Child House.
